Want to Learn How You Can Improvise!

I honestly believe anyone can improvise. Some might take to it more easily than others but it’s just some simple instincts and you’re off to the races.

One of the most important rules in improv has always been to keep positive and to agree with your scene partners. Yes, and... stands at the core of every improv games and also applies to day to day living. I find that doing improv makes me a more positive person, and I try to use that very yes and at my work. I work in theatre production and to follow and support members of the production and creative team find ways to solve issues works best when we’re all contributing together.

Improv can scare some due to its pressure to perform, but people should remember that it’s not to perform but the instinct to react. I’ve been performing improv for over ten years, and have taught and led workshops and jams for eight years
