Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I.T. will no longer be doing Odd Sunday shows at Yuk Yuk’s. We have had a long-standing history of bringing comedy to the establishment on Sundays and it is bitter-sweet for us to leave this tradition behind. However, we are still producing special shows (like our show with Engineers Without Borders, March 5th, at Cafe Alt) and we are working hard to find a new time slot / venue to continue bringing Ottawa’s Edgiest Comedy troupe to the people. You will still be able to see us, just not on a regular basis for the time being. We will be using our facebook group to keep in touch so keep subscribing. Please stay tuned for new and up coming shows, we will never stop mining comedy GOLD!
Insensitivity Training Kicks off their 2012 Season of ODD Numbered Sundays on January 29th at 8pm (Yuk Yuk’s 292 Elgin St.) So come out and joins us for some impromptu Comedy completely made up on the spot!
But wait there’s more!
The next night you can stay home and gather around the tube and see IT’s very own Dan Dicaire on Discovery Channels: “Canada’s Greatest Know it all” Premiering Monday Jan 30th at 10pm.
Insensitivity Training is closing the Fall 2011 season with their 4th Annual holiday charity show “Comedy with Balls”. Step aside Santa, we’ve got what you really want.
There will be Free Eggnog and awesome Door Prizes including gift certificates from the Earl of Sussex and the Black Thorn as well as some classic Beer Gear from our sponsors.
This year, I.T. is proud to partner with the Christmas Exchange; 100% of the proceeds from the show will be donated to this great cause that provides gift certificates and food hampers to thousands of underprivileged Ottawa families that otherwise may not have a Christmas. You can feel good about enjoying a night of comedy knowing you are helping families in need.
On stage, you can expect to see the unpredictable improv comedy of Insensitivity Training, local comedian Matt Carter nominated for a 2011 Canadian Comedy Award, some I.T. Alumni coming home for the holidays and other special mystery guests.
