Ali is very new to the world of improv. With a background in contemporary dance -- did you know universities give degrees for that?! -- she has performed and choreographed a lot, but assumes most people reading this bio are aware that dance is kinda lame and won't wax on the subject.
When Ali was 17, she met Michael Palin at The Whitney Museum of American Art. She managed to tell him she really liked his work before retreating to a corner to hyperventilate in front of an early Mark Rothko. Ali began attending Some Assembly Required's drop-in improv workshops in late January 2008. It wasn't long before she was hooked. She made her debut performance with Made to Measure in March at SAW Gallery, and has since been appearing in their monthly shows at The Elephant and Castle.
Ali likes playing with the boys because they teach her a lot, make her giggle, and occasionally grab her boobs. If the scene calls for it. Hey, it happens.
